Highways & Transportation
The city of Hobart (including the Airport Industrial Park) is located along U.S. Highway 183, a wide-load corridor and alternative route to Interstate 35. The highway connects to I-40 in Clinton, to US-62 between Altus and Lawton, and to US-287 near Vernon, TX. State Highway 9 links Hobart to other small towns in the area, who travel to the city regularly for work or for essential shopping.
The Grainbelt Class III railroad line runs from Enid to Frederick via Hobart. The line is operated by Farmrail.
